We WELCOME YOU to the Al-Anon Family Groups, a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics, which is open to anyone who feels his or her life has been or is being deeply affected by someone else's drinking. We who live or have lived with the problem of alcoholism understand as perhaps few others can. We learn that we didn't cause it, we can't control it, and we can't cure it. But in Al-Anon we discover that our situation is not truly hopeless and that we can find contentment and even happiness whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not. We urge you to try our program. It has helped many, many people find solutions to their difficulties.
Anonymity is an important principle of our program. It is essential to assure confidentiality, a sacred trust basic to our fellowship. We do not repeat what we see or hear at meetings, always protecting each other's anonymity and the anonymity of Alateen and A.A. members as well.
You will find help and hope in Al-Anon. Meetings in our area are listed on the tool bar above under Find a Meeting, along with contact numbers if you would like to speak to a member of our program.
